Genome: Unlocking Life's Code is an innovative, interactive museum exhibition created by NHGRI and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. After an 18 month stay at the Museum, the exhibit began a multi-city tour of North America.

NHGRI marked the 10th anniversary of the Human Genome Project — one of the most significant scientific accomplishments of the past 100 years — with a scientific symposium in 2013.
