Three fact sheets with important information for people with diabetes are now available in Spanish.
La hipoglucemia (Hypoglycemia) defines and explains the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of hypoglycemia. It focuses on controlling hypoglycemia in people with diabetes but also discusses hypoglycemia in people who do not have diabetes.
Los problemas sexuales y urológicos de la diabetes (Sexual and Urologic Problems of Diabetes) describes the sexual and urologic problems that men and women with diabetes may experience. It also provides information about causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment and includes suggestions for additional resources.
Neuropatías diabéticas: el daño de los nervios en personas con diabetes (Diabetic Neuropathies: The Nerve Damage of Diabetes) reviews the causes and symptoms of diabetic neuropathy and explains the different types of neuropathies: peripheral, autonomic, proximal, and focal. It also discusses diagnosis and treatment options.
