New Publications to Reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

NICHD is collaborating with American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) organizations on the Healthy Native Babies Project, a new outreach arm of the Back to Sleep campaign focused on spreading safe sleep messages to AI/AN communities. Among the materials developed for this campaign are a new brochure and poster describing ways to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) among AI/AN babies. The two publications can be used in community centers, health clinics, powwows, and other venues.
