New Fact Sheet on Cancer Clinical Trials
Format: Fact Sheet
Institute: National Cancer Institute (NCI)
Clinical trials are research studies that test how well new medical approaches work in people. People who take part in cancer clinical trials have an opportunity to contribute to knowledge of cancer and progress against it. They also receive access to new treatment options from specialists in cancer treatment.
A new fact sheet from NCI provides information on participating in a cancer clinical trial and a description of NCI's Clinical Trials Cooperative Group Program.
You can find the fact sheet on clinical trials at www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/information/clinical-trials.
