Newly Redesigned Web Site to Help Children Maintain Healthy Weight

Format: Web Site, Tip Sheets
Institute: National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)

Are you looking for tips, tools, and other materials to help keep your 8– to 13–year–olds (and the whole family) at a healthy weight? If so, you may find the newly redesigned We Can!™ (Ways to Enhance Children's Activity and Nutrition) Web site a great resource.

On the Web site, you will discover new tip sheets on finding snacks with 100 or fewer calories, using the Nutrition Facts label on foods, and cooking with the help of children. The new site highlights the wonderful things going on in the We Can!™ community sites, showcases partnerships, and shares stories with visitors interested in ways to prevent childhood overweight.
