New Clinical Research Matching Tool for Volunteers

Format: Web Site
Institute: NIH Clinical Center (CC)

Are you a clinical research volunteer, or would you like to be? Do you know how to find clinical studies that are right for you? Now there's an online tool to help you connect with clinical studies that interest you.

CC has joined ResearchMatch, an online, national clinical research registry that matches people who want to participate in clinical research studies with researchers who are seeking volunteers. ResearchMatch is a free and secure Web-based service that helps connect volunteers to clinical studies taking place at CC in Bethesda, Maryland, and at other major academic institutions across the country.

Searching for clinical studies can be a difficult process. ResearchMatch makes it easier. Joining the registry will:

  • Reduce the time you spend finding research studies you qualify for.
  • Improve the chances that you will match a research study that interests you.
  • Help you learn more about research in your community or in your area of interest.

Next Steps

Learn how you can let opportunities to join a clinical research study find you by visiting the CC ResearchMatch Web site at https://www.researchmatch.org/?rm=volunteer3.
