New Tip Sheets Help Teens Eat Healthy and Get Active

Format: Tip Sheets
Institute: National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK)

Do you have teens in your family or serve teens in the community? You can help them stay healthy with two colorful new tip sheets that promote healthy eating and physical activity. Try posting these back-to-back guides on bulletin boards and refrigerators for quick reference.

Charge Up! Healthy Meals and Snacks for Teens offers teens ideas for healthy eating around the clock. Get Moving! suggests ways teens can move more and stay active, both indoors and outdoors. Both tip sheets are based on the popular brochure Take Charge of Your Health! A Guide for Teenagers, which helps teens take small and simple steps to maintain a healthy weight.
