Comments regarding NHLBI Director Elizabeth G. Nabel, M.D.
“I want to congratulate Betsy Nabel on being selected President and CEO of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals. I must say, they made an excellent choice. Betsy has been an outstanding director of the heart, lung, and blood institute at NIH. She has been a close colleague of mine for more than 20 years, and I’ve always found her to be a stellar scientist, a superb physician, and a visionary leader. We will miss her greatly at NIH, however, I look forward to working with Betsy in her new capacity.”
