Legionnaires' Disease
Legionnaires' disease is a form of pneumonia. It is most often contracted
by inhaling mist from water sources that are contaminated with Legionella
bacteria. There is no evidence for person-to-person spread of the disease.
Immune System and Immunosuppression
Immunosuppression is a disorder or condition where the immune
response is reduced or absent. People are said to be immunosuppressed
when they experience immunodeficiency that is caused by drugs such as
corticosteroids or other immunosuppressant medications.
