NIH, EPA announce competition to develop personal air pollution and health sensors

Members of the media are invited to attend an announcement, followed by press availability, on a new nationwide competition called the My Air, My Health Challenge. The competition is offering cash awards for developing a personal, portable sensor system that measures air pollution and a personís physiological response to it.

Join leaders from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), which is part of the National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as they announce the competition and cash awards.
