HHS Secretary Donna E. Shalala and Tipper Gore
Launch SIDS Information Campaign

Tipper Gore and HHS Secretary Donna E. Shalala will launch an information campaign to bring about "back sleeping" for babies to help reduce the incidence of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Mrs. Gore will become national spokesperson for the campaign, and the effort's first corporate partner will also be announced.
