Talking glossary of genetic terms mobile app – 2
Narrator: This is NIH Health Matters. I’m Joe Balintfy. New technology that may be on a wish-list this holiday can also be a teaching tool.
Witherly: The app, is an iPhone app, works on the iPad, and the iPod touch.
Narrator: Dr. Jeffery Witherly at the NIH explains there’s a new app called the Talking Glossary of Genetic Terms. He says users can read a definition or listen to an explanation of various terms like gene or chromosome.
Witherly: And there is a lot of 3D animations which are just fantastic even on an iPhone.
