New Publication Features Women in Science Careers at the National Institutes of Health – 1

Narrator: This is NIH Health Matters. A new publication titled, Women in Science highlights success stories of women at NIH. Dr. Vivian Pinn, Director of the Office of Research on Women’s Health says. the book provides examples of the roles, positions and contributions of professional women.

Dr. Pinn: There are so many accomplished women at the NIH both in senior levels as well as in junior positions all enjoying or excelling in science that we wanted to put together not a directory of scientists but just a publication that could feature the accomplishments of many of the women here.
