Encouraging Dads to Get on Track to Better Health – 1
Narrator: This is NIH Health Matters. I’m Joe Balintfy. Father’s Day is June 19, this year and health experts are encouraging dads to get on track to better health by making small changes to their eating and exercise habits.
Rodgers: Dads are special people, not just on Father’s Day but every day.
Narrator: Dr. Griffin Rodgers at the National Institutes of Health says Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate dads and encourage them to make improving their health a priority.
Rodgers: They do so much for their loved ones. But oftentimes they do very little for themselves.
Narrator: For more information on how dads can get on track to better health, visit the website win.niddk.nih.gov. Health Matters is produced by the National Institutes of Health, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
