The Heart Truth ® (La verdad acerca del corazón) (Spanish language with English captions)
One in every four women dies of heart disease. To alert women to this serious health threat, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has chosen the red dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness. The Red Dress is the centerpiece of NHLBI's national campaign 'The Truth About the Heart,' known in English as The Heart Truth.
