Papilloma Pseudovirus for Detection and Therapy of Tumors

This invention describes the use of papillomavirus pseudoviruses (PsV) as a gene transfer technology and a tumor diagnostic method. Preliminary studies showed that PsV bind to cells that were transplanted with human ovarian tumor (Shin-3) while normal tissues were not affected. David Sadowski Retiring

David Sadowski is retiring after 32 years of government service including 17 years at OTT. For the last 3½ years, Dave served as Deputy Director, Division of Technology and Transfer where he was responsible for many of the changes and improvements that the Division has undergone. Prior to that, he was an OTT Patent Advisor and Acting Assistant Director for Operations and Client Relations.

Dave is retiring from federal service to take a new position at the University of Rhode Island as Assistant Vice President for Intellectual Property Management and Commercialization and Executive Director of the URI Research Foundation.
