Shared Instrumentation Grant Program

This grant mechanism is used to support the acquisition of state-of-the-art shared instrumentation. Key instruments supported include high-resolution mass spectrometers and high-throughput protein and nucleic acid sequencers as well as microarray systems. The Shared Instrumentation Grant program provides a cost-effective mechanism for groups of NIH-supported investigators to obtain commercially-available, technologically sophisticated equipment costing more than $100,000.
