International Mouse Strain Resources
This is initially a collaborative project between The Jackson Laboratory,
Bar Harbor, USA and the MRC Mammalian Genetics Unit, Harwell, UK.
The principle aim of this project is to provide electronically searchable
databases, via the WWW, in order that the international research
community can find the necessary resources to carry out fundamental
research. It aims to promote the use of the mouse as a model organism
for research into human disease, as well as into mammalian physiology
and genetics.
For additional information about this resource, please see: http://imsr.har.mrc.ac.uk/.
Organisations interested in participating in the International Mouse
Strain Research project should contact imsr@har.mrc.ac.uk
or imsr@jax.org.
