2006 International Xenopus Meeting

September 12-16, 2006
Early Bird Registration and Abstract Deadline: July 10, 2006
Kazusa Akademia Park, Japan

The International Xenopus Meeting is held every two years and is the only meeting that brings together researchers using Xenopus as a model system. This year’s meeting, the 11th in the series, will be held near Tokyo, Japan. The Xenopus Meeting scheduled for this year is going to be held in the midst of tremendous progress in such epoch-making topics as genomic interpretation, genetic expression control, regeneration, transformation, organogenesis, germ cells, transgenic methods, proteomics and bioinformatics. Outstanding achievements have been made in the study of not only Xenopus laevis but also on X. tropicalis. We believe that the role of studies using Xenopus has been truly remarkable in the life sciences, and it is indeed significant at this time that the researchers who use Xenopus in their studies are to gather from all over the world in order to introduce their findings and discuss their results.
