Multifaceted education initiative that provides comprehensive research-based information on alcohol abuse and binge drinking among college students, including specific recommendations and tools for college presidents, parents of college and high school students, high school administrators, and students themselves.

Rethinking Drinking

The Rethinking Drinking initiative includes an interactive Web site and companion booklet that provide evidence-based information about risky drinking patterns in U.S. adults, along with support for cutting back or quitting.

The Noisy Planet website features science-based information on NIHL, including an e-newsletter, quizzes, and interactive games for preteens, videos, and other instructional content for the classroom and for social media.

Developmental Disabilities and Oral Health

Provides dental professionals in the community with basic information needed to deliver quality oral health care to people with special needs, including individuals with physical, mental, and behavioral challenges.

Cancer Treatment and Oral Health

The publication series "Oral Health, Cancer Care, and You" informs health care providers and patients about steps they can take before, during and after cancer treatment to reduce the risk and impact of these often painful side effects. The series includes materials for oncologists, dentists, and patients.

Oral Cancer: What African American Men Need to Know

This educational campaign provides African American men with information about oral cancer and the importance of detecting the disease early. Campaign materials include a brochure, fact sheet, posters, video, radio PSAs, and widgets.

Sisters Together: Move More, Eat Better

Sisters Together: Move More, Eat Better works with various community-based groups and the news media to develop and share with African American women and their families culturally relevant tips and tools about the health benefits of regular physical activity and healthier eating.

Learn the Link - Drugs and HIV

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), national public service campaign aims to educate teens on the link between non-injection drug use and HIV transmission. The campaign features an innovative television spot blending English and Spanish and a Webisode series.

National Drug Facts Week

Building upon its annual Drug Facts Chat Day, when NIDA scientists chat live with teens in schools around the country, NIDA has created National Drug Facts Week, a national health observance for teens that aims to shatter the myths about drugs and drug abuse. Read about community-based events, take a national drug IQ quiz, or to learn how to become a social media partner.

PEERx

Rx abuse IS drug abuse. NIDA developed PEERx to reach teens with information about prescription drug abuse and misuse. Focusing on teen to teen communication, this web site provides science-based facts, ideas for teachers, and downloads.
