Considering Sex as a Biological Variable in Clinical Trials
Dr. Janine Clayton, Director of the NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health, discusses the importance of considering sex as a biological variable in biomedical research in order to produce relevant discoveries in health care for both men and women. Jamie Gentille, a clinical trial participant, shares her opinions on the importance of having women participate in clinical trials.
