Analysis of Public Comments on University-Based Approaches for COVID-19 Surveillance Testing

Universities and other institutions of higher education may face unique challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic; therefore, on August 12, 2020, NIH released a Request for Information (RFI) to gather feedback from the community and to review the current landscape on university-based approaches for COVID-19 surveillance testing. Understanding the capabilities of universities to provide on-campus testing services and university-based networks to develop and deploy robust SARS-CoV-2 surveillance testing will help to determine gaps in infrastructure and the potential for collaborative efforts.
