NIH ECHO Program Announces Funding Opportunity: Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research

As part of its commitment to advancing efforts related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), the NIH ECHO Program Office has released NOT-OD-22-077: Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) for Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO)- IDeA States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network (ISPCTN) Program (Admin Supp - Clinical Trial Not Allowed).

Only current ISPCTN clinical site grantees and the Data Coordinating & Operations Center (DCOC) are eligible; they can apply for supplements through the parent grant. Eligibility includes candidates from the high school through junior faculty levels under the stipulations in PA 21-071, Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (Admin Supp - Clinical Trial Not Allowed). The project scope must be related to ISPCTN goals. 

Applications are due by May 23, 2022. The ECHO Program Office encourages applicants to submit letters of intent by May 9, 2022. The start date of the Supplemental Award will be September 2022, and awards will provide up to two years of support.
