Advances in neuroscience are moving at an unprecedented pace. We can now visualize what the brain is doing as people have profound reactions to music. One example is the release of dopamine in a specific part of the brain when music gives you the “chills.” By studying how our brain’s reacts to music, both listening and producing, we are learning more about how the brain works.
