Trans-NIH Music and Health Working Group

Established in 2017 as one of the outcomes from the Workshop on Music and Health that same year, the Trans-NIH Music and Health Working group includes representative from NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices within the NIH Office of the Director. The group is charged with developing and implementing a research agenda to advance our understanding of music and health, including potential therapeutic applications. The working group also provides scientific expertise to NIH leadership and plays an integral role in the NIH’s contributions to the broader Sound Health partnership, including Sound Health public awareness events and activities.
