Funding: A conference grant to the IACFSME was funded by the following NIH organizations: NIH Participation: Vicky Whittemore, Ph.D. (NINDS), NIH Representative to the HHS CFS Advisory Committee, will be a keynote speaker; will participate in a professional workshop entitled “NIH Grant Writing Workshop” together with Joseph Breen, Ph.D. (NIAID) and Cheryl Kitt, Ph.D., NIH Office of Extramural Research; and will discuss the new NIH/CDC effort to develop common data elements for ME/CFS research in an evening session at the conference. William Ellwood, Ph.D. from the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research will give a presentation in a professional workshop entitled “Nothing about us without us: how community-engaged research can accelerate progress in the field of ME/CFS”.
